Global Retail Forum

Global Retail Forum (GRF) partnered with Retail Business Technology Expo to run a whole series of meetings with key industry speakers over the two days during the Expo. They held a series of panelist meetings in their own dedicated theatre at Retail Business Technology Expo. This provided its members, their colleagues and non–member retailers the opportunity to meet and network in a specially created International Pavilion at Retail Business Technology Expo.

The panelist meetings were based around specific business areas within retail and were hosted by a key industry speaker along with a carefully selected panel of experts to provide their views on todays hot topics as well as answer attendees questions. Once the meeting was over, there was the opportunity to move into a dedicated networking area to provide quality time to make new connections. With the Pavillion set in the environment of the Expo it offered a useful day out to catch up on the latest innovations for the industry.

GRF is an international professional networking group of senior international retailers from various high profile brands in fashion, food and beverage, luxury and other sectors from the UK and across the world. Its purpose is to bring international retail leaders together to accelerate networking and business building. This is conducted through knowledge sharing events and an online community to enable discussions about the industry or country specific hot topics.

'The role of technology and business solutions are crucial enablers to successful efficiencies in a brands international growth. The GRF was founded to aid retailers in simplifying global retailing, so understanding the use of todays technology was integral to supporting the GRF mission statement. For this reason the GRF has partnered with Retail Business Technology Expo and Cards & Payments Solutions in March 2012 to offer our global industry colleagues an exceptional opportunity to come together in probably one of the best cities in the world - London, to network and talk about the opportunities, issues and challenges that retailers face in today's economic climate.'
